ABOUT ALI
Ali Eagle
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT #149358)
Ali Eagle is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#149358) who believes that every person holds a story worth exploring. She offers a collaborative, creative, and deeply compassionate space where clients can begin to make sense of their experiences, reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been silenced or fragmented, and uncover a greater sense of meaning and self-understanding.
Ali specializes in supporting individuals navigating identity discovery, perfectionism, low self-worth, relational challenges, anxiety, depression, and codependence. She also works with clients healing from trauma and personality repression, and offers support around non-active addiction, eating disorders, sex and love addiction, and LGBTQIA+ identity-specific concerns.
Her therapeutic style is integrative and experiential, drawing from psychodynamic and humanistic approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt, Jungian, attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic work, mindfulness, expressive arts, and narrative therapies. Whether she is guiding a client through dreamwork, parts work, or body-based processing, Ali approaches the work with attunement, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s inner world.
Ali received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and trained at Airport Marina Counseling Service, where she focused on psychodynamic and LGBTQIA+-affirming modalities. She also volunteered and trained as a crisis counselor at the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center. Before becoming a therapist, she earned a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Drama, with an emphasis in Musical and Experimental Theatre. Ali now draws on her lived experience in the entertainment industry to support artists navigating the ebbs and flows of creative work, identity, and emotional resilience.
Ali believes therapy is a sacred space where all parts of you are welcome.
A native Angeleno, Ali grew up in Pacific Palisades and attended Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences, where she discovered her love for people and the arts and served as student body Vice President. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, hiking, traveling, yoga, arranging flowers, leisurely coffee walks, and spending quality time (aka yapping) with friends and loved ones. She also finds joy in the occasional deep dissociation via a good TV show.
Ali carries with her the wisdom of a mentor who once said, “The extent to which you can be effective as a therapist depends on how deeply you know yourself.” This philosophy continues to guide her clinical work and personal growth. Above all, Ali believes therapy is a sacred space where all parts of you are welcome. She feels honored to walk alongside her clients as they navigate the rich, sometimes winding journey of healing and self-discovery.
Ali is working under the supervision of Maya Weisfelner LCSW #28267.
